Public House Bangkok, a Member of Design Hotels, is a 78-room boutique property on Soi Sukhumvit 31 in the Phrom Phong area, roughly a 13-minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS and the EmDistrict malls. Opened in 2023 and later joining Design Hotels within Marriott Bonvoy, it reimagines a British social club through an industrial-meets-mid-century lens: parquet floors, custom furnishings and curated art across nine room categories from the 28 sqm Downtown Room to an 83 sqm suite. Social spaces define the stay, including the FORUM co-working area, a podcast lounge, the SWD restaurant and Open Bar, plus THE MOOON rooftop with a compact saltwater pool and gym overlooking the city. Reviewers consistently praise the refined design, spacious and immaculately clean rooms, warm attentive service and a lively, Instagram-friendly atmosphere. It holds a strong TripAdvisor standing, ranking among Bangkok's top 30 of more than 1,380 hotels from 400-plus reviews, alongside a 9.0-plus Booking.com score. Common watchouts are the small rooftop pool that suits photos and dips more than laps, and a walk of over a kilometre to the nearest BTS, so taxis or ride-share are handy. It appears in the MICHELIN Guide and Mr & Mrs Smith.

iTravelBlog (Love Travel) · Wendy · Jan 2024
Praises the refined mid-century European design, immaculate cleanliness, spacious rooms and thoughtful service, with weekend live-violin dining. Notes the rooftop pool is small and BTS access is over 1 km away, so taxis are recommended.
Grazia Malaysia · Sarah Chong · Oct 2024
Frames Public House as a versatile eight-level hotel for work, dining, fitness and nightlife -- extended breakfast hours, a day-to-night rooftop pool, podcast lounge, co-working space, curated art and a pet-friendly policy.
Mr & Mrs Smith · Cici Peng
Editorial review of an energising creative hub: Seventies/Eighties industrial-chic design, a rooftop saltwater pool, the Fest grill, a co-working forum and podcast lounge, plus suites with spa-style baths and corner rooms with terraces.

Yes. It is a Member of Design Hotels within Marriott Bonvoy, so guests can earn and redeem Bonvoy points and use loyalty benefits. It is Bangkok's only Design Hotels property in the Marriott portfolio.
Highlights include the FORUM co-working space and podcast lounge, the SWD restaurant and Open Bar, and THE MOOON rooftop with a saltwater pool and gym overlooking the city. Rooms feature 65-inch smart TVs, Nespresso machines and rain showers.
The rooftop saltwater pool is stylish with skyline views but small, best suited to cooling dips and lounging rather than lap swimming, and it can get busy on sunny days.
